PLDT and Smart Communications continue to roll out Experience Hubs to bring digital services closer to their customers, this time in Gapan City, the oldest town in Nueva Ecija.
'We want to delight our Smart and PLDT customers in Nueva Ecija, prioritizing their needs and enhancing their journey with us. Our goal is to narrow the digital divide and enable access to communications, especially in the regions, and empower local governments and their communities with digital tools and connectivity to help them improve their lives and boost their local economy,' said John Palanca, senior vice president and head of Sales and Development at PLDT and Smart. Considered the 'Footwear Capital of the North' due to its thriving shoemaking industry, Gapan City is home to over 122,000 residents as of 2020. It is also a component city of Nueva Ecija, which plays an integral part in the agricultural sector of the country.
