LAST August 28, Silliman University celebrated its 123rd Founders' Day. Established in 190l, a year before the University of the Philippines was founded, Silliman has developed a reputation for quality education and the inculcation of high moral standards among its students.
In terms of financial resources, physical assets and the usual criteria for higher education institutions (HEIs), Silliman can be considered small.
