BAGUIO CITY — Deaths due to dengue fever rose from 7 to 12 even as cases continued to decline in the Summer Capital.

The Baguio City Health Services office said most of the fatalities were children who were already in a severe stage of the disease when they sought medical help while the adult victims had comorbidity.
