PHILIPPINE Postal Corp. (PHLPost) Chairman Stephen Cruz said he would spearhead the restoration and rehabilitation of the historic Manila Central Post Office building in Liwasang Bonifacio, which was destroyed by fire in May 2023.
Cruz, a former Court of Appeals justice, said an interagency task force was created for the initiative that includes the Department of Tourism, National Historical Commission, National Commission for Culture and the Arts, National Archives of the Philippines and the city government of Manila.
