Arvin Tolentino unloaded a personal high 51 points as NorthPort bamboozled Converge, 135-109, in the PBA Season 49 Governors' Cup on Thursday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Malate, Manila.
The 6-foot-6 Tolentino waxed hot from all angles, knocking down five triples and making all 16 of his free throws to become the first local player to breach the 50-point plateau since Stanley Pringle did the trick six years ago.
