ILOILO CITY — The City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (CDRRMC) here has recommended declaring a state of calamity due to dengue as health officials raised concerns over the continuous rise in cases.

The recommendation was made during a meeting presided over by CDRRMC chairman Mayor Jerry Treñas on Tuesday.
