MANILA, Philippines — The state-run weather agency said on Wednesday that the southwest monsoon or "habagat" has been affecting most parts of the country, including Metro Manila which would experience occasional rains.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astrnomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said La Union, Pangasinan, Bicol Region, Central Luzon, Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon) and Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) would be experiencing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the same weather system.
