PETROLIFT, a leading Philippine oil tankering company, has christened its newest vessel, the MT Petro Elise. The 51,000-barrel tanker, one of the largest in the country, measuring 95.95 meters in length, 18.6 meters in breadth and 10.20 meters in depth, is equipped with advanced features for safe and environmentally friendly operations.

Its main engine is fueled with very low sulfur fuel oil (VLSFO) and automotive diesel oil (ADO). It also has a multi-grade cargo handling system that allows for three grades of segregation of clean petroleum products and a cargo remote liquid monitoring system that can be connected through Wi-Fi access, enabling real-time viewing by shore personnel during loading and discharging operations. These features enable safe and environment-friendly operations.
