High Speed Hitters punch semis ticket after outlasting Crossovers

MANILA, Philippines — The PLDT High Speed Hitters pulled the strings and made it ring to reach the semifinals after fending off the Chery Tiggo Crossovers in a tough five-set match, 25-23, 25-27, 15-25, 25-18, 15-9, in the knockout quarterfinals of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 Reinforced Conference at the FilOil EcoOil Centre in San Juan City on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

This is PLDT's first semifinal appearance since the 2023 All-Filipino Conference, and their third overall semis berth since its franchise in 2021.
