I AM not new to speaking history in the middle of a mall, yet, last Sunday, I still felt the thrill to be invited as a headliner for the three-day "History to Experience" (HistoEx) event organized by the National Historical Commission of the Philippines, Araneta City, J. Amado Araneta Foundation and Gateway Gallery. This is a celebration of public history where ordinary people can partake with fun activities and meet and greet with historians, such as those from the Philippine Historical Association, and other cultural workers who make history fun and alive for people.
