Two more lawmakers join Lakas-CMD, boost majority in House

MANILA, Philippines — San Juan City Rep. Maria Ysabel Zamora and Cagayan 1st District Rep. Ramon Nolasco Jr. on Tuesday joined the political party Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD).

This increased the party's membership at the House to 105 or over a third of the said lawmaking body, according to a press release from the office of Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez who is the party's president.
