IF you've spotted a Honda with "Spoon" decals, you know that it's not a reference to cutlery but to the renowned Japanese brand, Spoon Sports, famed for its expertise in tuning Honda vehicles.
Recently, Spoon Sports made a significant visit to the Philippines, creating a buzz in the local car tuning community with a special live build event. Hosted by DZ Racing, the official distributor of Spoon in the country, and NeoClassic, the event showcased a live build of a Honda Civic Type R FL5, executed by the Spoon Sports Japan team. The event, which took place on Aug. 11 to 12, 2024, at the Carbon Detailing Studio in Filinvest City, Alabang, was further elevated by the presence of Spoon Sports founder Tatsuru Ichishima and top executives Takuya Kai, Daisuke Jomoto, and Hiro Yokomori.
