What could derail Canada's Express Entry visa train

IN 2021, of the 405,999 foreign nationals admitted as permanent residents into Canada, 139,459 were admitted through Express Entry, the application management system ushered into place in 2015.

Statistics Canada's report to the Parliament shows permanent resident (PR) admissions that year at 219,035, including those invited and admitted under Express Entry (EE) — candidates who qualified under the three main federal programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC) and Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP).
