CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — With the onset of the rainy season and the reduction of other charges, the power rates in the province have been significantly reduced this month, the local power distributor said on Friday.
In a post on its social media page, the Oriental Mindoro Electric Cooperative (Ormeco) said that for the month of August, the power rate is at P14.29249 per kilowatt-hour (kWh), which is lower compared to the P17.2917/kWh rate in June and P16.7433/kWh rate in July.
