God is banking on our nation. Are we up to it?

MOST people, including devout believers, can't imagine God banking on the Philippines for anything in his grand plan for the world. We wield no great geopolitical, econ omic, military, technological or cultural power. We're not even a global leader in religion despite being Asia's majority Catholic congregation.

But certain world developments today put our country and our people on the frontlines of the global battle between the Divine and the diabolical.
