THE first International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO), hosted by the Philippines, awarded 37 junior and senior secondary students during the closing ceremony on Aug. 6, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center Clark in Pampanga.

The first batch of INSO's gold medalists were Caldras Tan Hong Xun, Caleb Chia, Tran Doan Duy Phuc, and Wong Kheng Hshin (Singapore); Mohammad Nur Casib and Neil Kyle Olaer Maniquis (Philippines); M N Ahamed Mushab (Sri Lanka); and Nopparuj Sodsri (Thailand).
