CEBU CITY — Labor groups and business representatives expressed contras-ting perspectives during the first of five public consultations on a proposed daily wage increase in Central Visayas on Tuesday.

The labor groups highlighted the necessity of a wage hike to address the diminishing purchasing power due to inflation during the hearing, held at the Department of Education – Ecotech Center in Barangay Lahug, Cebu City.
