Residents near Kanlaon Volcano to be relocated

ILOILO CITY — The Office of Civil Defense Western Visayas (OCD-6) said at least 83 households living inside the four-kilometer permanent danger zone (PDZ) from the crater of Kanlaon Volcano in Negros Occidental may be relocated to safer grounds.

OCD-6 director Raul Fernandez said these households are mostly from La Castellana town.
