LEGAZPI CITY — The Department of Health (DoH) Bicol Center for Health Development has recorded six leptospirosis-related deaths in Region 5 this year.

In a report released on Thursday, DoH Bicol said there were 65 cases of leptospirosis recorded across the region from January 1 to August 10, 2024 with six deaths, including two in Masbate.
