MANILA Electric Co. (Meralco) said Thursday that subsidiary MGen Renewable Energy Inc. (MGreen) signed an investment deal for an undisclosed amount with Vena Energy Philippines to develop a solar plant in Pangasinan.
Under the agreement, both companies will jointly build and operate the 450-megawatt alternating current (MWac) Bugallon solar power project, which is under 3 Barracuda Energy Corporation.
