THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) on Tuesday said the communist terrorist groups (CTGs) continue to diminish in Eastern Visayas following the surrender of the two ranking leaders to authorities.
Capt. Jefferson Mariano, 8th Infantry Division Public Affairs Office chief, identified the two New People's Army (NPA) leaders through their aliases as Leo/Omer/Lovely, the former Squad Leader of Squad 2, Sub-Regional Guerrillas Unit, and Mail, former finance officer of P2, Front Committee 15, both from Sub-Regional Committee Arctic of the Eastern Visayas Regional Party Committee.
