JERUSALEM — Israel's military said on Tuesday that it had retrieved the bodies of six Hamas hostages from the southern Gaza Strip in a joint operation with internal security agency Shin Bet.
The hostages were Yagev Buchshtab, 35; Alexander Dancyg, 76; Yoram Metzger, 80; Nadav Popplewell, 51; and Haim Perry, 80, previously announced dead; and Avraham Munder, 79, whose kibbutz of Nir Oz near Gaza announced his death earlier in the day.
