With little hope of the war in Sudan ending soon, displaced citizens in the north of the country build homes in the traditional way, using mud and palm fronds rather than modern materials. "This is a transitional phase. We will see if things improve in Khartoum and if we're able to return, but I think that staying here is better for me under all circumstances," says Mohamed Abd Elhamied.
