A LABOR coalition urged President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Finance Secretary Ralph Recto on Tuesday to stop the transfer of P10 billion Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) funds to the National Treasury.

In a statement, the Nagkaisa Labor Coalition said this move by the government is "highly illegal and unconstitutional" because "it represents an executive usurpation of Congress' power to legislate appropriations."
