NATIONAL Maritime Polytechnic (NMP), the country's sole government-owned maritime training and research center, has made public its P1.3 billion Modernization Plan to improve its facilities, infrastructure and capabilities to expand maritime training and research in the country.

NMP presented during a local media forum in Tacloban its comprehensive P1,337,613,775-plan for fiscal year 2025-2028, which outlines strategic initiatives to upgrade its facilities and infrastructure, expand its training and research capabilities, and enhance overall service delivery.
