If not for the heroics of Superman Stephen Curry, US basketball dominance was obviously over in the Paris Olympics. Close wins over South Sudan, Serbia, and finals against France showed the world its not the same Dream Team anymore. Curry, Durant, and Lebron had to show their very best to keep the Gold medal. These three may not be around anymore come 2028 in the Los Angeles Olympics.And probably half of the team maybe gone by then too. The Africans, through South Sudan, have finally arrived losing by merely a point. Scary finish. Curry, Durant, and Lebron are in their late thirties and have to go. And showing their best wares in Paris, many of these Africans, Serbians, and French guys will all be drafted soon in the next NBA season too. LA 28' Olympics may see the end of US basketball.
