Debt service burden down in April

THE country's debt service burden dropped by 15 percent in May from a year earlier, data from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) showed.

Preliminary data showed that the debt service burden plunged by 14.8 percent to $5.62 billion as of end-May from $6.6 billion in the same period last year.
