Nemi Miranda — a visual artist more than worthy of National Artist award

It was nine in the morning on a sunny Sunday when this author hurriedly prepared to meet a good friend, Nemi Miranda, the respected visual artist of Angono, Rizal, known as the art capital of the Philippines.

The author first met Miranda when the latter was the head of the visual arts committee of the National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA), and the former was the president of the Las Piñas Artist Society.
