Three crew on Chinese boat missing after collision off Taiwan island

TAIPEI, Taiwan — Three crew members from a Chinese fishing boat were missing on Saturday after their ship collided with an unidentified vessel and sank off the coast of a Taiwanese island, Taiwan's coast guard said.

China claims self-ruled Taiwan as part of its territory and relations between the two have deteriorated in recent years.
