PHILIPPINE Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) President and Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel Ledesma Jr. personally handed the P239 million check to Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte as part of the state insurer's support to the city government's implementation of medical services for its local constituents.
Three QC-run hospitals would receive the biggest chunk of funds: Quezon City General Hospital with P101.57 million, followed by Rosario Maclang Bautista General Hospital with P58.03 million and the Novaliches District Hospital with P47.74 million.
