Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace Barbers talks to media about what the House of Representatives expects in its first 'quad committee' hearing on drugs and the Philippine Offshore Gaming Operations (POGOs) under the administration of former president Rodrigo Duterte. The joint hearing will be conducted by the Committees on Dangerous Drugs, Public Order and Safety, Human Rights, and Public Accounts on Aug. 16, 2024 at the Bacolor Convention Center in Pampanga. Barbers said that while they were expecting many resource persons, some "surprise witnesses" may also appear.
