Panama Canal turns 110 years old amid water shortage threats
'By the end of the year we should be back to normal if the rain cycle holds,' says the administrator of the Panama Canal, which is turning 110 years old. The Panama Canal is facing threats of running out of water due to climate change, amid international conflicts and competition from other trade routes. 'Everything that happens in Ukraine affects us, everything that happens in the Middle East affects us,' explains administrator Ricaurte Vasquez.
