CEBU CITY — After an increase in electric billing last month, residential consumers in Metro Cebu can expect a rate reduction of P0.71 per kilowatt-hour, bringing the total rate to P12.56/kWh for the August-September billing cycle.

In an advisory on Monday, Visayan Electric said that for a household consuming 200 kWh per month, this translates to approximately P142 in savings on their upcoming bill.
