Hot Friday as 'habagat' weakens

MANILA, Philippines — It's going to be hot on Friday as the southwest monsoon or 'habagat' weakens, the state weather bureau said.

Weather specialist Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that they have not monitored any tropical cyclone or low pressure area at least until weekend.
