THE Philippine Red Cross (PRC) and Radio Mindanao Networks (RMN), with support from the local government of Malabon, held a blood donation drive, dubbed the 'Dugtong-Buhay Bloodletting project,' at Malabon Sports Complex on Aug. 10, 2024. Malabueño blood donors showed up for the event, which resulted in 125 bags of blood collected.

PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon emphasized the significance of practicing and regularly donating blood, saying: 'Helping other people and giving blood needs practice. If you do not practice it, you will forget. Your age is determined by your idealism. When you have a sense of service for other people, you won't age. We salute you.'
