Baguio test runs new e-vehicle

BAGUIO CITY — An electric vehicle (EV) said to be the latest technology of its kind is currently undergoing mobility test run here, and if proven capable of negotiating the Summer Capital's hilly terrains, a transport cooperative would procure units for its modernized operations.

Mayor Benjamin Magalong said the EV is a big boost to the city's efforts to promote and adopt low carbon urban transport solutions toward sustainability and also in support of the country's Low Carbon Urban Transport Systems (LCT) Project.
