No hand in ouster of Bangladeshi ex-PM – US

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The United States 'had no involvement' in ousting Bangladeshi prime minister Sheikh Hasina, the White House said on Monday, describing the claim as 'simply false.'

Hasina, 76, quit as premier on August 5 after a student-led uprising against her government and fled by helicopter to longtime ally India.
