THE House of Representatives is planning to pass a bill that would empower local government units to allocate funds for barangay (village) officers' monthly Social Security System (SSS) premium contribution, Speaker Martin Romualdez said.
Romualdez made the statement on Tuesday at the National Congress of the Liga ng Mga Barangay at the World Trade Center (WTC) in Pasay.
