A MARILAO, Bulacan, resident has filed a complaint against the town's mayor, vice mayor and other officials before the Office of the Ombudsman over the alleged illegal repacking of relief goods from the Department of Social Welfare Development (DSWD) intended for Typhoon Carina flood victims.
Accompanied by legal counsel Jonnie Gonzales, complainant Alexander Montilla filed on Friday grave misconduct, serious dishonesty, conduct unbecoming of a public official and conduct prejudicial to the best interest of the service as mandated under Republic Act 10121, otherwise known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act of 2010, against Mayor Henry Lutao and co-respondents.
