MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) said the issue of the uniform of golfers Bianca Pagdanganan and Dottie Ardina is an isolated case and agreed with National Golf Association of the Philippines officials that it was held at French customs.
In a statement on Saturday, the POC said that Adidas, the Games' official sponsor, sent an initial set of apparel for the golfers before the start of their competitions for approval by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), but was disapproved and had to change the apparel a week before the opening.
