BAGUIO CITY — Health officials in the Cordillera region have raised the public alarm, as dengue cases recorded from the region's sentinel hospitals from January 1 to August 3 reached 10,347 with 22 deaths.

Records from the Department of Health (DoH) – Cordillera show that more than 10,000 cases were recorded this year, a 163-percent increase compared to the same period last year where 3,900 cases were recorded.
