CEBU CITY — Bohol Gov. Erico Aristotle Aumentado promised to prioritize environmental protection as he resumed his duties following the lifting of his six-month suspension by the Office of the Ombudsman. The suspension was linked to the controversial construction of a resort near the Chocolate Hills.

Aumentado, who was in Cebu to celebrate the province's 455th founding anniversary, attended the event alongside seven other Visayan governors and first lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.
