'Habagat' continues to bring rains to Luzon, including Metro Manila, western Visayas

MANILA, Philippines — Luzon and the western sections of Visayas will have rains due to the effects of the southwest monsoon or 'habagat,' the country's state weather bureau said on Saturday.

In its early morning bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the Ilocos Region, Zambales and Bataan was forecast to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
