THE Department of Education (DepEd) reminded schools that no fee shall be collected from learners and teachers in all public and private elementary and secondary schools during enrollment period and at any time during the school year.
In DepEd Memorandum No. 41, s. 2024, or the Reiteration of the "No Collection Policy" in Schools, Education Secretary Sonny Angara reminded field and school officials that the sale of tickets and/or the collection of contributions in any form from school children, students and teachers of public and private schools, colleges and universities is prohibited.
