THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Thursday announced that a South Korean citizen was arrested in Angeles City, Pampanga on Tuesday, after trying to illegally broadcast movies and shows from his country to the Philippines.
The NBI said the Korean was identified as Kim Jongsik who was apprehended for the violation of Section 177 in relation to Section 211 of Republic Act (RA) 8293 (Intellectual Property Rights Division) and in relation to RA 10175 (Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012).
