MOTOR vehicle sales were marginally higher in July after slowing a month earlier, automakers reported on Thursday.

A total of 39,331 units left showrooms last month, up 0.6 percent from the 39,088 sold in June, the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (Campi) and the Truck Manufacturers Association said.
