Elon Musk to move X headquarters out of San Francisco
Social media titan X, formerly Twitter, is moving its headquarters out of San Francisco.
Chairman and Chief Technology Officer Elon Musk initially announced X would move its headquarters to Austin, Texas in a July 16 tweet.
But, according to media reports, a recent email by X CEO Linda Yaccarino announced to workers the company would instead be relocating its San Francisco-based employees to offices in Palo Alto and San Jose. When Musk first announced the move to Texas, he citing a new gender-identity law in California as the "last straw."
