MANILA, Philippines — Akari overcame a lackluster first set to scratch Cignal's unblemished record, 15-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-22, in Pool B of the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) 2024 Reinforced Conference at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig on Tuesday.
The Chargers will enter the second round with a 5-0 win-loss card, while the HD Spikers absorbed its first loss to cap the first round with a 4-1 win-loss slate.
