LEGAZPI CITY — Dengue cases in Bicol Region spiked by 40 percent as the Department of Health's (DoH) Center for Health Development recorded seven dengue-related deaths from January to July 13 this year.

Based on the data released by DoH Bicol on Sunday, dengue cases in the entire region increased from 512 last year to 715 in the same period this year.
