MANILA, Philippines — THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Monday that it is closely monitoring two low pressure areas (LPAs) spotted inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Weather specialist Robert Badrina said that the two LPAs have no direct effect yet on the weather condition in the country.
